Spot our ‘Phill the Box’ clothing receptacle in the east parking lot at our 5644 Colcord Ave location. Your donations not only declutter your closet but also contribute to our cause! For every pound of clothing donated, we receive $.20, which goes directly toward improving the lives of women across Jacksonville and supporting survivors of sexual violence when they need us the most.
What can you put in your bag?
Gently used Women’s, Children’s, Baby’s and Men’s clothing and shoes. You can also donate Purses, Backpacks, Handbags, Clutches, Tote Bags, Shoulder Bags, Laptop bags, Hats, Gloves, Ties, Scarves, Belts, and Wallets.
All items must be clean and in plastic bags.
Please do not include any these items:
- Electronics and appliances
- Mattresses
- Books, Tapes, CDs
- Cookware and Kitchenware
- Household items
- Furniture
We recommend taking these items to Hubbard House Thrift Store at 6629 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32216. You can call them on (904) 400-6333 to make sure that they need what you’d like to get rid of.
We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing bags of clothing to our reception or leaving them outside our buildings. Instead, please use Phill the Box for your donations. If the box is full, just give us a heads-up! Leaving bags outside can lead to theft or damage from weather, rendering them unusable for our donation program.
