WCJ Prevention Programs

Setting the Bar offers free training to empower bar and restaurant staff with practical tools to intervene and help prevent sexual assault.

This specialized training expands upon many of the skills that staff already have to help prepare them to intervene when they see concerning predatory behavior, sexual harassment and even sexual assault. It will help them learn the different ways they can approach a situation safely.

It will also equip them with knowledge about resources and tools that are available and how to support someone who has been impacted by sexual violence.

All sexual assault prevention training is free of charge and available to all alcohol serving bars and restaurants in Duval, Nassau and Baker Counties.

The training is about an hour long and can be done in person or virtually
