JOIN US IN HONORING THESE EXTRAORDINARY WOMEN
AT WOMEN'S, WORDS, & WISDOM!

CARMAN KASPER
Carman doesn’t just believe in healing, she builds spaces for it. As the founder of Kasper Cares and co-founder of Arize Together, Carman has spent decades walking alongside women and children impacted by trauma, trafficking, and exploitation. Her heart for service shines through her mentoring, her service as a board member at Rethreaded, and her unwavering dedication to organizations that empower women to reclaim their lives. Motivated by love, rooted in faith, and fueled by compassion — Carman turns care into action, and action into transformation.

SUZANNE PICKETT
Where others see forgotten neighborhoods, Suzanne Pickett sees canvases of possibility. A visual artist, housing advocate, and co-founder of multiple community development organizations, Suzanne has spent over 30 years fusing creativity with justice. As CEO of the Historic Eastside CDC, she builds equity through arts, culture, and real estate — ensuring East Jacksonville’s past is honored and its future empowered. She believes that thriving communities are built not just with bricks, but with vision, opportunity, and love.

MARTHA LLUCH
By day, Martha designs structures. By night — and through her darkest hours—she builds herself. An architect, artist, birder, and spoken word explorer, Martha Lluch discovered healing through creation during the most difficult health crisis of her life. From mixed media to podcasting, her project Little Raging Warrior and her platform Creative Botica have become vessels of truth, tenderness, and transformation. Martha reminds us that resilience is not always loud — sometimes it speaks through art, through breath, through surviving one more day.

ANA SERRANO
After retiring, Ana could have slowed down—but instead, she chose to lift others up. Through the AT&T Pioneers Jacksonville Life Member Club and her heart-centered work at Pace Center for Girls, she
brings joy, dignity, and hope to young girls discovering their worth. Whether it’s planning activities that help girls feel seen and celebrated, or simply showing up with unwavering love, Ana reminds them that their futures are not just possible — they’re bright. She is proof that a life of service doesn’t end at retirement—it only deepens.

LISA CHALOUX
Lisa is a trafficking survivor turned strategist. She uses her voice and her vision to dismantle the systems that once tried to silence her. As a Program Planner Analyst with USF’s TIP Lab BRIGHT Network, Lisa is at the forefront of disrupting demand and building survivor-informed, person-centered solutions. She co-designed Jacksonville’s new anti-trafficking campaign, including The Thrive Space—a safe, anonymous planning tool created by survivors, for survivors. Her work helps victims create secure exit strategies while also targeting buyers directly through campaign ads, including the l
aunch of Jacksonville’s “No-Trafficking Zone” in the Sports & Entertainment District—a bold, first-of-its-kind initiative backed by city leaders and all major sports teams.
