“For the Love of Art” features a silent and live auction of paintings and three-dimensional art generously donated by local artists, including the late Dr. Sandra “Sandy” Hansford. Sandy was an art lover, prolific collector, and long-time supporter of the Women’s Center of Jacksonville (WCJ). Later in life, Sandy painted under the mentorship of distinguished Jacksonville artists Allison Watson and Ellen Diamond. Sandy left her vast art collection, including her own paintings, to the Women’s Center to help support our mission.
